West opens 3S, vulnerable, and North doubles. South has a legitimate problem. He solved it by bidding 5C. North was beside himself looking for something intelligent to bid and he settled on raising to 6C. Hard to fault this bidding but it is obvious that slam was not cold. West led the ace and a spade. South now was faced with two decisions. Should he finesse West for the king of clubs or should he play East for a singleton king? Question: Which play do you prefer?
